Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Williams Sr. of Jackson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception July 10, 2010, at Maple United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Cape Girardeau. Hosts were their children.

Williams and Minnie Deimund were married July 7, 1950, in Piggott, Ark., by Judge French.

The couple has three children, Jesse (Pat) Williams Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Cynthia (Gary) Dudley and Juanita (Don) Copeland of Jackson.

They have five grandchildren, Leigh Ann Dudley Scott, Bryan Copeland, Joshua Williams, Gary Dudley Jr., Delaina Williams Coomer; and four great-grandchildren, Destiney Scott, Tyler Copeland, Breanna Williams, and Jordan Scott.
