Mr. and Mrs. Paul Friese of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception July 31, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills.

Friese and Mary McLain were married July 31, 1960, at Egypt Mills.

The couple has two children, Debra Friese of Jackson and Craig (Brenda) Friese of Egypt Mills. They have four grandchildren, Bradly and Alex Friese of Jackson, Amanda (Nathan) Rees of Egypt Mills, Loren (Travis) Keele of Minot, N.D.; and two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Lain Rees.
