Crossing America on Horseback
Linny Kenney rides her 11-year-old Arabian, Sojourner, along Highway 146 east of Cape Girardeau Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 while on her trip across America. She left San Francisco on March 1 and is heading to her childhood home in New Hampshire. According to Kenney's website, the ride is about endurance, challenge, a love for the land, people and the horse, and the beauty of slowing down to enjoy the moments.
