ORAN, Mo. -- Harold J. and Agnes Landewee of Oran celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends Aug. 14, 2010.
A reception, dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oran. The couple renewed their vows during the 6 p.m. Mass at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating.

The Landewees were married Aug. 13, 1960, at Guardian Angel Church.
The couple has six children, Melissa (Mike) Spencer of Oran, Theresa (Charlie) Upton of Jasper, Ind., Susan (Chris) Scherer of Oran, Gerald (Kim) Landewee of Jackson, Carl (Jennifer) Landewee of Blomeyer, Mo., and Tim (fiancee Kristy Blue) Landewee of Oran.
They have 12 grandchildren, Brandon and Matt Isaacs, Jeff and McKenzie Spencer, Sadie Whitener, Luke and Katie Upton, Aaron and Hannah Scherer, Thomas Landewee, Joseph and Emily Landewee; and three great-grandchildren, Chace, Vinetta and Michael Whitener.
