SIKESTON, Mo. -- Two Sikeston men were charged Saturday as the result of a joint narcotics investigation involving the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force and the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
Larry G. Patterson, 49, was charged with distribution of a controlled substance and received a $100,000 cash-only bond. Phillip A. Harrell, 37, was charged with four counts of distribution of a controlled substance and given a $50,000 cash-only bond. Both were transported to the Scott County Jail to await arraignment.
According to a news release from the Department of Public Safety, officers stopped two vehicles Friday with Patterson and Harrell in them. A search warrant was served and officers found crack cocaine, the release said. Police are searching for two more suspects.
