The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a contract during its regular meeting Wednesday for bridge work and culvert replacement on Highway 91 and Route C in Bollinger County. The $244,208 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors LLC of Van Buren, Mo. The project includes replacing the railing on the bridge over Dry Creek south of Highway 51, near Dongola, Mo. The project also includes replacing a culvert on Route C in Bollinger County, near Highway 51. Weather permitting, work on Highway 91 could begin as early as November. Once the road is closed, the contractor will have 14 days to complete the work. Work on Route C could begin as early as this month, weather permitting. Once the road is closed, the contractor will have 30 days to complete the work. Work zones will be marked with signs, including detour routes, as work is underway. Drivers are urged to use caution and plan for possible delays. The Missouri Department of Transportation will alert drivers before any change in traffic.
