The SEMO District Fair draws to a close Saturday with a local act for the main entertainment. After a long day of rides, fair food and trying to win things, relaxing in the stands to the country rock of the John D. Hale Band is the way to go. The band's sound ventures closer to the country days of old, outlaw country. Its blend of folk, country, bluegrass and rock follows in the footsteps of other popular fair acts.
