BELL CITY, Mo. -- Rick Maddox, 55, of Bell City died Sept. 17, 2010, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1955, in Dexter, Mo. the son of Bonnie Midkiff Maddox. He was married to JoAnn Scheible at the Vanduser Pool Hall in Vanduser, Mo. She survives of the home.

Rick was a warehouse manager at Pine Tree Trucking in Advance. He was in the APA Pool League and the Pioneer Pool League.

Other survivors include three sons, Daniel Maddox and Benjamin Maddox, both of Bell City, and Justin Maddox of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Melissa Hargrove of East Prairie, Mo.; five brothers, Chad, David, Jeff, Scott and Brad Maddox, all of Bell City; two sisters, Cheryl Walter and Chadette McDonald, both of Oran, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Maddox.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Gingerich officiating.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
