PATTON, Mo. -- Ginard Rehkop, 82, of Patton, formerly of Desloge, Mo., passed away Sept. 17, 2010.

Mr. Rehkop was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Cantwell, Mo. He was the son of the late Homer and Edith Richardson Rehkop.

Ginard had retired from Wetterau Non Foods, where he was the warehouse manager. He enjoyed horseshoe pitching and attended many tournaments.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Jean Henderson Rehkop of Patton; a son, T. G. Rehkop and wife Barbara; one daughter, Pam Rehkop and husband Ernie Kam; one granddaughter, Becky Hobart and husband Robert; two sisters, Hilda Pratte of Virginia, Wilma Jester of Florida; a brother, Harold Dean Rehkop of St. Charles, Mo.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Proctor and Verna Faye Cross.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, with the Rev. Bradford Laubinger officiating.

Burial will be in St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Home of Cape Girardeau.
