Shooting

* Autumn fun shoot: The Cape Girardeau County Gun Club will host a fun shoot from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 9 at the trap and skeet range in the Apple Creek Conservation Area. There is no entry fee. Cost: $3.75 a round for trap, skeet or five-stand for non-club members. Any shotgun 12 gauge to .410 can be used. Info: Grant Gillard, 243-6568 or Dale Todt, 979-0314.

Soccer

* Jackson alumni game: The Jackson High School alumni game will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the junior high. All former players are invited to play. Info: Josh Lukefahr, 225-5125.
