Chirnside - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Chirnside of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sept. 30, 2010, in St. Louis. Hosts were their children.

Chirnside and Joyce Covington were married Sept. 30, 1950, in Jefferson City, Mo., by Dr. Heaton. Their attendants were Anne Covington Koch and Donald Chirnside.

The couple has three children, Lisa Stover and Linda Dudenhoeffer of Glendale, Mo., and Lori Sullivan of San Francisco, Calif. They have two grandchildren, Allie and Haley Dudenhoeffer.
