PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. -- A one-vehicle accident on Interstate 55 left two dead and four injured, the Daily Dunklin Democrat reported. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 8:19 a.m. Sunday, a sport utility vehicle traveling north passed another vehicle, overcorrected and ran off of the road. The vehicle overturned several times and ejected three occupants. Joshua Eady, 17, of Haslett, Mich., and Whitney Eady, 22, of Lansing, Mich., were pronounced dead at the scene. Driver Aretha Eady, 45, of Haslett and passengers Charles Eady, 47, of Lansing and Charles Eady, 21, of Haslett suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn. Passenger Sophia Nash, 24, of Lansing was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo., with moderate injuries.
