An alarm malfunction forced the evacuation of Southeast Missouri State University's University Center for about 20 minutes Tuesday afternoon, according to staff and students.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene late in the day, but the alarm was found to be faulty and quickly fixed, a staff member said.
