Gary Ervin Moore, 56, of San Antonio went to be with his Lord Friday, Oct. 15, 2010.

He was born 0ct. 11, 1954, in San Antonio, to George W. and Ruby Franck Moore. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in San Antonio. He lived in San Antonio all his life.

Gary served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.

He is survived by his mother; three daughters, Jennifer Williams (Kenneth), Susan Moore, Sarah Moore; two sisters, Georgia Brown (Jerry) and Gloria Dykes (Doug); two grandchildren, C.J. Williams and Gracie Ricord; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Ervin F. and Alma Schaefer Franck, and Charlie and Anna Bock Moore, all from Cape Girardeau County.

A graveside service will be held at 8:45 a.m. today at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with full military honors.
