The Eagle Ridge Christian boys soccer team repeated as state champions Saturday with a 4-3 victory against Grandview (Mo.) in the Missouri Christian School Athletic Association Division II tournament in Joplin, Mo.

Aaron Margrabe scored three goals for the Eagles, while Roy Yoon had one goal and one assist. Michael Perez had two assists and Sejin Park added one for the Eagles, who went 3-0 in the tournament to finish their season at 7-11-1.

"We were definitely the underdogs going in, but we got better as the season went on and were able to pull it out," Eagle Ridge coach Andrew Mellies said.

Eagle Ridge advanced to the title game with wins over Westwood Baptist and Crosspoint Christian.

Margrabe and Yoon, both midfielders, were selected to the all-state first team along with Eagles defenders Josh Carbaugh and Perez.
