Tommy Sowers will fight for us

Jo Ann Emerson is not running against Obama or Pelosi. She's running against Tommy Sowers, a decorated war veteran. He is a tough, battle-tested leader. While I know many people are upset with Democrats right now, Tommy Sowers will be a major improvement from Jo Ann Emerson's legacy of lost jobs and poor leadership.

Unlike Jo Ann, who has no jobs plan, Tommy does. Unlike Jo Ann, who talks about supporting veterans but received a "C" grade from the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans Association, Tommy has proved himself a leader on the Afghanistan war and will stand up in Congress for our troops and vets. Unlike Jo Ann, who talks about supporting seniors but received only a 30 percent (out of 100 percent) rating from the Alliance for Retired Americans, Tommy will fight to protect Social Security and Medicare, not cut it. I'm tired of Jo Ann's empty words, and that's why I'm supporting Tommy Sowers.
