American Legion donates to St. Louis' Fisher House
The American Legion Rider Chapter 63 in Cape Girardeau recently donated $400 of the proceeds it received from a rifle raffle to the Fisher House, which was recently built near Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. Families of wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan can stay at Fisher House during their loved one's recuperation.
