Mainord - Hanner

BENTON, Mo. -- Sarah Elizabeth Mainord and Joshua David Hanner were married June 19, 2010, at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Harry Sharp performed the ceremony. Reader was Martha Mainord of East Prairie, Mo., aunt of the bride. A four-string quartet provided music, and soloist was Kevin Mainord of East Prairie, uncle of the bride.

Parents of the couple are Scott and Alvina Mainord of Benton, and Steve and Pam Hanner of Annapolis, Mo.

Maid of honor was Kathryn Mainord of Benton, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Laura McCann of Gallatin, Mo., Shauna Anderson of Cape Girardeau, Jillianne Schatz of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Natalia Mainord of East Prairie, cousin of the bride.

Joe Wibbenmeyer of Imperial, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Hanner of St. Louis and Jeremy Hanner of Annapolis, brothers of the groom; Alex Brandon of Chesterfield, Mo., and Scott Mainord of East Prairie, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Steve Bruening of Ballwin, Mo., and Joel Beer of Bartelso, Ill.

Candlelighter was Christa Britt of East Prairie, cousin of the bride.

Flower girls were Mallory Heuring and Emma Moore of Benton. Ringbearers were Drew Youngblood and Kevin Mainord of East Prairie, cousins of the bride. Mallory is the daughter of Greg and Andrea Heuring. Emma is the daughter of Dwayne and Jennifer Moore. Drew is the son of Jason and Mandy Youngblood. Kevin is the son of Bryan and Angelina Mainord.

Chloe Tubbs of St. Louis and Megan Meystedt of Dallas, Texas, attended the guest book.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Bel St. John of Diehlstadt, Mo., Michelle Felter of Sikeston, Mo., and Jessica Mercer of Bertrand, Mo.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 18 at the church.

Mrs. Mainord is a 2003 graduate of Kelly High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology and bachelor of arts degree in political science from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She expects to receive a master's degree in public administration in December 2011. She is employed by the state of Missouri.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Parkway West High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2007, and expects to receive a master's degree in business administration in December 2010. He is employed by the university.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
