High school roundup: Bohnert leads ND girls to first win

Brooke Bohnert did a little of everything in the Notre Dame girls basketball team's first win of the season Wednesday.

Bohnert scored a game-high 21 points while adding six rebounds and five steals in the Bulldogs' 60-31 victory over Dexter at the Farmington tournament.

Summer Burger added 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Nicole Blattel pulled down six rebounds.

Notre Dame (1-1) pulled ahead in the second quarter by outscoring the Bearcats 20-7.

Allyson Bradshaw scored 10 points and dished out three assists in the win.

Courtney Heberlie drained a pair of 3-pointers on her way to scoring 14 points, but it wasn't enough as the Indians lost at the Valle Catholic tournament.

Kali Wingerter added six points for St. Vincent (2-1), which returns to action tonight against Crystal City at the tournament.
