Deirdre R. Blakemore and retired Air Force Lt. Col. Gary Inman were united in marriage Oct. 15, 2010, in Frederick, Md. The traditional Celtic ceremony was performed by candlelight at Evangelical Lutheran Church. Readings included a selection from the Breastplate of St. Patrick. The groom is the son of the late June Kraushaar Allmon of Jackson, and the late Charles Inman of Batchtown, Ill.

Maid of honor was Brigid Blakemore, daughter of the bride.

Merle Inman, uncle of the groom, was best man.

Guests were led in a procession of the Highland Pipes from the church to a dinner reception and ceilidh at the Civil War Era Mayor's Offices.

The couple was later joined by extended family as they exchanged Catholic vows in the parish church of the bride's family in County Meath, Ireland.

Mrs. Inman is a graduate of Hood College. She is chair of foreign languages at St. John's Catholic Prep in Frederick.

The groom is a 1976 graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed in Washington, D.C.

Following a wedding cruise, the couple is residing in Frederick.
