New coroner appointed in Stoddard County
BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Stoddard County has a new coroner. Aaron Mathis of Dexter was sworn in as Stoddard County Coroner by Judge Joe Satterfield Tuesday at the Stoddard County Justice Center in Bloomfield. Mathis was appointed by Gov. Jay Nixon to fill the term of Morgan Sifford, who resigned Jan. 6 of this year. Mathis is employed at Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter...The Daily Statesman
