Allen Creek bridge to close for replacement

Work to replace the Route U bridge over Allen Creek in Cape Girardeau County is expected to begin March 28, weather permitting. The road will remain closed from Highway 34 to Route A as construction progresses. Completion is anticipated in mid-May. Signs and warning devices will be in place in the work zone.
