Lauren Ashley Loftis and Alex Skelton were united in marriage June 12, 2010, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. The Rev. David Johnson performed the ceremony. Organist was Jenny Keusenkothen of Jackson, and soloist was Angel Hillman of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Lana Andrews of Cape Girardeau, and Randall and Robin Loftis of Fort Worth, Texas. The groom is the son of Steve and Susan Skelton of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Brooke Huber of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Maggie Baugh of Jackson; Claire Skelton of Jackson, sister of the groom; Allison Loftis of Fort Worth, sister of the bride; and Emily Williams of Jackson.

Ben Skelton of Jackson was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Sprandel of Jackson, cousin of the groom; Corey Seabaugh of Jackson, Eric Bock of Pocahontas, and Derek Williams of Jackson. Ushers were Paul Murphy of Jackson, Bryan Skelton of Cape Girardeau, Ryan Sprandel of Fruitland, and Luke Mueller of Jackson, all cousins of the groom.

Candlelighters were Hunter Andrews of Cape Girardeau and Jared Loftis of Fort Worth, brothers of the bride.

Flower girls were Ellie and Sophie McCadams, daughters of Joe and Nickie McCadams of Jackson. Ringbearer was Stratton Williams, son of Derek and Emily Williams.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

Mrs. Skelton is a 2010 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Jackson School District.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of Southeast. He is a high school program representative with DeVry University.

The couple is residing in Jackson.
