An Oak Ridge man was injured Thursday in a two-car accident near Pocahontas.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 56-year-old Richard L. Seiler was treated for moderate injuries at Saint Francis Medical Center following the crash on County Road 530, two miles east of Pocahontas.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. when Seiler was cresting a hill in his 1993 Chevrolet Lumina and collided with a 2001 Honda Accord driven by 19-year-old Skyler J. Kempf of Jackson, who was partially in the wrong lane. Kempf's car hit the front of Seiler's vehicle.

Seiler was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
