As community bank president of Alliance Bank, Greaser is at a vantage point to understand the needs of his community. He holds leadership positions with many not-for-profit organizations in Cape Girardeau, and also spends time helping with hands-on charity and church projects. He is involved with the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce; Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau; vice president of the Cape Girardeau Community Development Corporation; Jackson Chamber of Commerce; Salvation Army board of directors; United Way board of directors, currently serving as co-chairman of the 2011 annual campaign; Habitat for Humanity board of directors, currently serving as president; Cape Girardeau Public Library board of directors; Southeast Hospital Association; and a member of Cape Bible Chapel.
"There has been tremendous expansion in the medical community in Cape Girardeau in the last year, with both hospitals completing significant projects and creating valuable jobs, but just as importantly significantly enhancing the quality of health care provided to the entire region. The Cape Girardeau area economy has been fairly resilient in the national recession of the last couple of years; however, it would be a blessing for us to attract a major manufacturer creating significant employment opportunities."
