PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alma L. Deimund Dippold, 91, of Perryville died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 3, 1920, at Menfro, Mo., daughter of James and Louise Warren Sadler. She and Oscar Deimund were married in 1941. He preceded her in death May 26, 1965. She and Walter J. Dippold were married June 6, 1970. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1998...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alma L. Deimund Dippold, 91, of Perryville died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 3, 1920, at Menfro, Mo., daughter of James and Louise Warren Sadler. She and Oscar Deimund were married in 1941. He preceded her in death May 26, 1965. She and Walter J. Dippold were married June 6, 1970. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1998.

Survivors include three daughters, Carol (Eldon) Kaufmann and Diana Nations of Perryville, Cindy (Lanny) Nash of Salem, Mo.; two stepsons, Allen (Mary) Dippold of Perryville, Gerald (Sharon) Dippold of Sedgewickville, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Becky Camp of Tucson, Ariz., and Sue (Bernie) Eskesen of Hendersonville, Tenn.

Also seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; four stepgrandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; three great-great-stepgrandchildren; a sister, Ruby (Russell) Kiefer of Perryville; two brothers, James Sadler of Bloomsdale, Mo., Robert (Shirley) Sadler of Palmer, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Velda Sadler of Festus, Mo., Irma Willson of Montgomery, Ala., Anna Deimund of Perryville; three brothers-in-law, Richard (Marilyn) Dippold and Hugo (Shirley) Dippold of Cape Girardeau, Edgar (Lee) Dippold of St. Louis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two sons, Gerald and Dwight Deimund; a daughter, Shirley Deimund; five brothers, Francis, Lloyd, Herbert, Raymond and Bernard Sadler; three sisters, Lillian Sadler, Bernice Sadler and Dorothy Gavin; seven sisters-in-law, Katherine Sadler, Ruth Kirn, Minnie Boxdorfer, Emma Wirth, Opal Deimund, Evelyn Mueller and Lucy Sadler; six brothers-in-law, Rudy Kirn, Leonard Boxdorfer, Walter Deimund, Harry Deimund, Newton Mueller and George Willson.

Dippold was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Chancel Guild, and an avid crafter.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Lutheran Hour Ministries, Saxony Lutheran High School, Immanuel Lutheran School, church debt reduction, Chancel Guild or radio broadcast.
