Glaus is a partner at Dix & Glaus LLC, Attorneys at Law in Cape Girardeau, and is a former assistant prosecuting attorney. He serves as a member, public relations director and sponsor of CycleWerx Race Team, is involved with the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsors the SEMO Cycling Team. Glaus previously served on the Tour of Missouri Planning Committee for Cape Girardeau and is a mentor to new riders. Professionally, he is a member of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Missouri Bar Association.

"The personal accomplishment I'm most proud of, says Glaus, is winning my first bike race in 2010 – I took first place in the Midtown Gran Prix road race in St. Louis. I also finished second in the Illinois State Championship road race in 2010."
