PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Adele Beussink Brands, 84, of Portageville died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Golden Living Center in New Madrid, Mo.

She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Leopold, Mo., to Anthony and Mary Arnzen Beussink. She married Theodore "Tee" Brands on Jan. 20, 1951, in Portageville. He preceded her in death May 30, 1992.

She was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include her five sons, Stephen Brands of Cape Girardeau, Randy Brands of J ackson, Jeff Brands of New Madrid, John Brands of Florida and David Brands of Portageville; two daughters, Lisa Dohogne of Cape Girardeau and Mary Samples of Portageville; three sisters, Catherine (Herman) Brands of Portageville, Pat Bollinger of Marble Hill, Mo., Linda Brown of Jackson; four brothers, Bill Beussink of Jackson and Fred, David and Harold Beussink, all of Leopold; several grandchildren, Stacy Dohogne Lane, Allison Dohogne, Mary Dohogne, Cody Samples, Cooper Samples, Caroline Samples, Myles Stafford, Adams Brands, Leslie Jenkins, Joshua Brands, Alisa Ebert, Amber Brands, Kelsie Brands, Jessica Morris, April Muller, Rebecca Hickman; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Franklin, Phillip, Charles and Joseph Beussink.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating.

Burial will be at Portageville Cemetery.

DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville is in charge of arrangements.
