Collision at Cape Girardeau intersection

Cape Girardeau rescue workers manage the scene of an accident Thursday at the intersection of Broadway and Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau. The accident occurred just before 4 p.m. when a Nissan Altima traveling south on Sprigg Street failed to yield when turning left onto Broadway and collided with a Toyota Yaris traveling north on Sprigg Street through the intersection. The driver of the Nissan was transported to Saint Francis Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver of the Toyota was unharmed. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
