Kermit "Moose" and Sandy Meystedt of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Nov. 6, 2010, by renewing their vows at Gaither Chapel in Montreat, N.C.

In attendance were their children, Madra (Mike) Jones, Jay (GiGi) Meystedt, Aron Meystedt, and grandson Graesen Meystedt.

Following the ceremony, their children hosted a dinner reception at the Biltmore in Asheville, N.C.
