BUSINESSES OWNED, ALL OR IN PART: Landowner

PREVIOUS OFFICES HELD OR SOUGHT: Current director of the Illmo Special Road District.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE FACING THE ILLMO SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT?:

The most important issue facing the Illmo Special Road District is to have someone elected to office whose only concern is his own agenda. And not working toward what's the most beneficial and in the best interest of the taxpayers and residents of the road district such as my opponent's wasteful spending, the Illmo Special Road District was nearly disbanded in 2008 due to disgruntled tax payers over my opponents pet projects. It took nearly one year's budget to pave a dead-end river road project in a floodplain near my opponent's rental property while everyone in the district was bouncing up and down gravel roads and dodging potholes. This was done before the highly traveled roadways were paved. I was approached by my opponent after the paving to raise County Road 307 (River Road) three feet, regravel and resurface. This is a total waste of your dollars!

WHAT IN YOUR BACKGROUND OR EDUCATION MAKES YOU QUALIFIED FOR THIS OFFICE?:

I feel that I'm qualified for the position because as a resident of the district I understand the importance of putting your tax dollars to work for everyone not just a few. We have spent the past two years resurfacing roads and replacing equipment that was neglected during my opponent's six years in office. Before going to work for Union Pacific Railroad in 2008 I worked in highway construction for Missouri Department of Transportation.
