Cape County accident claims second life

A Belleville, Ill., man died Monday as a result of injuries he received in a vehicle crash that occurred in Cape Girardeau County Thursday. Erick Faile, 21, died as a result of massive trauma, Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Clifton confirmed late Monday afternoon.
A Jackson teenager, Cecily McAdams, 18, was pronounced dead an hour after the Thursday accident, which injured another Belleville teen.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:35 p.m. on County Road 621 when the vehicle McAdams was driving lost control, ran off the road and struck numerous trees.
