Chadwick Jauch Tipton, 17, of Cape Girardeau completed his journey on earth to begin his new journey in heaven on Friday, May 20, 2011, where he now resides in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Chad was born Jan. 7, 1994, in Cape Girardeau, the son of W. Thomas and Julie Ann Jauch Tipton.

He recently completed his sophomore year at Saxony Lutheran High School, where he quickly established many strong and nurturing friendships with his fellow students as well as the faculty.

Chad previously spent a year and a half at the Rectory School in Pomfret, Conn., where he again had established many strong bonds of friendship with the student body and the faculty, particularly Fred and Kerri Nagle, his dorm parents, and Claudia Abbott, his patient and tireless tutor.

Chad enjoyed playing soccer and lacrosse, but his most favorite thing was to make people laugh. With a twinkle in his eye and a quick wit, Chad's presence lit up every room that he entered and he left a lasting impression on all he met.
