Work to replace the Route EE bridge over Drainage Ditch No. 14 in Cape Girardeau County is expected to begin Aug. 1, weather permitting. The road will remain closed from Highway 25 to Highway 77 as construction is underway. This is the second of three consecutive bridge replacements scheduled on Route EE. Work is underway to replace the bridge over Little River Drainage Ditch No. 11 in Scott County. The bridge over Little River Drainage Ditch No. 1 in Scott County is also scheduled to be replaced. The three Route EE projects are expected be completed by late October.
