Heat advisory for Southeast Missouri again today
The National Weather Service in Paducah, Ky., was again issued a heat advisory for the entire area, covering all of Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois and parts of other states. In Cape Girardeau the weather service forecasts at high of 98 today with a heat index of up to 107 degrees. The temperature at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport was 89 degrees at 9:53 a.m., with a heat index of 102.
