The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Adam L. Metelski, 26, of Farmington, Mo., was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Shannon M. Bednar, 38, 732 N. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

* Ryan S. Mosley, 25, 728 Hickory St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for resisting arrest.

* Edward McCalip, 39, of Edgemont, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau City warrant for violating probation and driving without an operators license.

* Galen L. Osborne, 22, 1804 New Madrid St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for resisting arrest and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Summonses

* John R. Knoblauch, 48, of Pekin, Ill., was issued a summons for excessive weed growth.

* Robert D. L. Maglone, 22, 550 S. Hanover St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain private property free of litter.

Assaults

* An assault was reported.

* A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Midwest Engines, 426 S. Sprigg St., reported metal stolen.

* A backpack was reported stolen at 13 Doctors' Park.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 1435 N. Mount Auburn Road.

* Currency was stolen from 801 Good Hope St.

* Don's Store 24, 341 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

Burglary

* A burglary and damaged door window were reported at 1229 S. Ellis St.

Property damage

* A door was reported damaged at 243 N. Fountain St.

Miscellaneous

* A 42-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Violation of an order of protection was reported.

* Forgery was reported at 921 Hackberry St.

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card was reported.

* A 26-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
