Three bridges on Highway 34 near Burfordville are expected to be open by Aug. 17. To celebrate completion of the bridges over the Whitewater Overflow, Whitewater River and Byrd Creek, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. that day. The event will be held beneath the Whitewater Overflow bridge, with parking available at Bollinger Mill. The public is invited.
