Southeast Missouri State's Rachel Kahle and Ed Draper have been named to the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team.

Kahle, a Jackson High School graduate, earned a 3.66 grade point average as a senior this year while majoring in biomedical science. The sprinter earned multiple Ohio Valley Conference honors and competed at the NCAA West Regional.

Draper had a perfect 4.0 GPA as a graduate student this year. He won the OVC javelin title and also qualified for the NCAA West Regional.

A record total of 663 student-athletes representing 172 institutions earned the award on the women's side and 402 student-athletes representing 153 institutions earned the award on the men's side.
