Larry W. Mueller, 49, of Jackson died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at his home after a hard battle with cancer.

He was born Aug. 9, 1961, in St. Louis, to Karl and Elizabeth Kopp Mueller. He and Penny Howell were married Oct. 6, 1990, at Jackson.

Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was a general foreman 26 years with Fru-Con Construction. He enjoyed building houses and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Mueller of Jackson; a son, Josh Mueller of Jackson; two daughters, Amber and Chrissy Mueller of Jackson; his parents, Karl and Elizabeth Mueller of Jackson; a brother, Mike (Lynn) Mueller of St. Louis; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park, with full military rites by Missouri Honors Team.
