I'D like to wish our members of Congress a happy vacation. They left a job undone, but what else is new? THIS is in regard to Congress passing the law to help stop pregnancies. They're going to have insurance companies start mandating that they pay for birth control pills for young girls. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Job undone

I'D like to wish our members of Congress a happy vacation. They left a job undone, but what else is new?

Birth control

THIS is in regard to Congress passing the law to help stop pregnancies. They're going to have insurance companies start mandating that they pay for birth control pills for young girls. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. All this is going to do is make our insurance rates go up.

It's important to realize that one party compromised and it wasn't the Republicans, it was the Democrats. Keep this in mind the next time someone shoots their mouth off calling the president a socialist dictator.

Obama has no clue

I'D like to know when people are going to wake up to the fact that we have a man in the office of the presidency who is completely incompetent. We need to get him out. We need someone in there that has a clue as to what it entails to run a country, because he evidently does not have a clue.

HUD house

I live next door to an abandoned house owned by HUD. The grass needs mowing, the weeds need cutting, there are bag worms hanging from the house. I have called nuisance abatement to complain. No one is ever at the desk to answer the phone. What's the deal? How can I get someone to do something? It's at the end of Independence Street, next to Pindwood Lane. Can someone please do something?

Thank you, Ameren

WE want to thank the Ameren Missouri crew for their rapid response to our 12:40 a.m. phone call recently notifying the company that power on Wheeler Drive in Scott City went off during the electrical storm. The crew arrived within an hour after my phone call and worked through the night to restore power. Thank you so much. We appreciate all that you do for Ameren Missouri customers.
