Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Moore of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and reception Aug. 5, 2011, at My Daddy's Cheesecake. Hosts were their children.

Moore and Mary Ann Marberry were married Aug. 6, 1961, at First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau, by the Rev. James Standifer.

The couple has two sons, Michael J. (Cheryl) Moore of Barnhart, Mo., and John D. Moore of Cape Girardeau. They have three grandsons, Steve, Rob and Joe Moore.
