Dellie Elizabeth Price, 83, of Jackson died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Senath, Mo., to Peter R. and Amanda Elizabeth Farrell Lane. She and James Owen Price were married Sept. 1, 1945, at Kennett, Mo. He preceded her in death July 26, 1976...

Dellie Elizabeth Price, 83, of Jackson died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Senath, Mo., to Peter R. and Amanda Elizabeth Farrell Lane. She and James Owen Price were married Sept. 1, 1945, at Kennett, Mo. He preceded her in death July 26, 1976.

She worked at Southeast Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Jackson and its women's ministry, prayer chain committee and was a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include four daughters, Ida May Koenig of Marble Hill, Mo.; Lawanda R. Smithey of Blairsville, Ga.; Genea K. Williams of Newburgh, Ind.; and LaDonna G. Sturgeon of Jackson; three sons, James T. Price and Robert "Bobby" Price of Jackson and Travis Price of Delta, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; two sons, Terrell W. Price and Garry O. Price; three brothers; four sisters; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may made to Paralyzed Veterans of America or the First Assembly of God in Jackson.
