Water district customers in Scott County ordered to boil water

Residents in the Scott County Public Water Supply District No. 4 are advised to boil their water until further notice as a result of a line rupture Monday.
An electrical contractor working for SEMO Electric hit a main water line while working to install new electrical poles on County Road 514, about three miles east of Blodgett, said Tim McIntyre, water district manager.
Water Supply District No. 4 serves many areas of rural Scott County including Diehlstadt.
