CHARLESTON, Mo. -- A maintenance supervisor at the prison in Charleston, Mo., has died after an apparent electrical shock in the food service area of the prison. The Missouri Department of Corrections says 39-year-old Michael Walker died Friday morning at a hospital after he was shocked at the Southeast Correctional Center. An investigation continues. The Missouri Department of Corrections says 39-year-old Michael Walker died Friday morning at a hospital after he was shocked at the Southeast Correctional Center. An investigation continues. A Corrections Department spokesman declined further comment.

Walker had worked for the Department of Corrections since 2007.
