Mortgage lender names VP

Ryan McClard has joined Capaha Mortgage Lenders, a division of Capaha Bank, as vice president of mortgage lending. McClard brings to his position 11 years of experience in mortgage lending. Capaha Bank has more than $180 million in assets with locations in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.

Man gets strategist certification

Tyler Cuba of First Allied Securities is among the first 2,000 professionals to obtain the Certified Wealth Strategist designation from Cannon Financial Institute. This designation recognizes Cuba for completing a thorough study of the issues surrounding effective wealth advising to comprehensively address clients' wealth management needs.

Three staff members from SoutheastHEALTH's Surgery Department were speakers at the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management National Conference in Boston from Aug. 8 to 10. Jeanie Rhodes, materials management coordinator; Jennifer Deschenes, materials implant/inventory coordinator; and Nancy Mueller, materials manager, presented to an audience of more than 200 materials management professionals from across the United States as well as internationally. They discussed strategies that resulted in a significant reduction in inventory in the Surgery Department over a six-month period.

ServPro owners recognized

Richard and Sandy Hastings, owners of ServPro of Cape Girardeau and Scott Counties, were honored with the Director's Gold Award during Servpro's 42nd annual national convention recently held in St. Louis. The award recognizes franchisees for their outstanding revenue performance and or service to the company.

Director recognized for sales

Jana Jateff, future executive senior sales director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, recently returned from Dallas, where she was honored in the National Queens Court of Sales. Jateff has been with Mary Kay for 29 years and has earned the use of 17 free company cars.

Agent completes training

Kirk Miller, a Farmers Insurance agent in Cape Girardeau, has completed the Career Agents Course at the University of Farmers. The University of Farmers training facility is in Agoura Hills, Calif. Miller completed the five-day course to enhance the skills of Farmers agents.

New physician at clinic

Dr. Christopher Reis, has joined the Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri as a pain management physician. Reis received his master's degree in molecular, cellular and systemic physiology from Southern Illinois University. He graduated as a doctor of osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill. Reis completed an interventional pain medicine fellowship, a residency and an internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. At the Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri, Reis joins Dr. Terry L. Cleaver, pain management specialist, in the management and treatment of patients suffering from chronic pain.
