Christine Senciboy

PERKINS, Mo. -- Christine A. Senciboy, 89, of Perkins died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at the family home.

She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in the Texas Bend community of Mississippi County, Mo., to Clement O. and Martha Emma Gibbear Scheffer. She and Truman Senciboy were married Jan. 24, 1948.

Christine was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo., and its St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Jim (Doris) Senciboy and Bill Senciboy of Perkins, Tom Senciboy of Oran; a sister, Frances Slayden of Charleston, Mo.; four grandchildren, Bill Senciboy Jr., Christy Smith, Donna Senciboy and Vicki Straw; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, James T. Senciboy Jr.; seven brothers; four sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Rita Senciboy.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
