Dost - Stark

Ashley Dost and Christopher Stark were united in marriage Oct. 1, 2011, at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Mo. The Rev. Kristopher Morris performed the ceremony. Readers were Shannon Groll of Kaiser, Mo., and Nicole Gamm of Ulman, Mo., sisters of the groom. Pianist was Matt Palisch of Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Sheri Dost of Jackson. The groom is the son of Gayle Vice of Ulman, and the late Duane Vice.

Matron of honor was Jamie Harrison of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Danielle Nussbaum of Whitewater, Beth Snyder of Pekin, Ill., Kristen Daniel of Millersville, Whitney Embick of Springfield, Ill., and Amelia Hoffman of New York, N.Y.

Rusty Williams of Osage Beach was best man. Groomsmen were Tony Cobb of Osage Beach, Steve Branstetter of St. Louis, Travis Carico of Ulman, and Seth Weinberg of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Ushers were Aaron and Austin Dost of Jackson, cousins of the bride, and Grant Gamm of Ulman, nephew of the groom.

Flower girl was Katherine Harrison, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Nathan Groll, nephew of the groom. Katherine is the daughter of Mike and Jamie Harrison. Nathan is the son of Jeremiah and Shannon Groll.

Taylor Nolan of Jackson, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the resort.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 30 at Shorty Pants Lounge in Osage Beach.

Mrs. Stark is a graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of fine arts degree in fashion design and product development from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She is an associate concept developer with Brown Shoe Co. in St. Louis.

The groom is a graduate of School of the Osage in Osage Beach. He is pursuing degrees in business management and human resources through Columbia College. He is store sales manager with Brown Shoe Co.

After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
