A Cape Girardeau man was arrested Monday after he allegedly choked his girlfriend and pointed a gun at her.

Ural R. Baker, 35, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

Police issued the warrant after Baker's girlfriend went to the police station Sunday to report the incident.

Baker was still in the Cape Girardeau County Jail on Wednesday on $10,000 bond.
