The make-up of the seven-committee was announced late last month by city manager Scott Meyer. Members are tasked with studying the extent of problems caused by deer in urban areas, such as damage to yards and trees, and to find solutions to the problem. One solution would be an urban deer hunting program, allowing trained hunters to shoot deer in the city with a bow-and-arrow.
