JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- The Missouri House is preparing to take up legislation dealing with state regulations and providing information about schools and county governments on a state website.

Republican leaders say they plan to consider the two measures during floor debate this week.

One bill would revise the process for state agencies to establish new rules and regulations. The other would post information about school districts, charter schools and county government on the Missouri Accountability Portal.

Both measures are sponsored by Republican Jason Smith, of Salem.
